Toya Osoegawa is the main character of the The Mage Next Door manga series.
Appearance[edit]
Toya has silver, straight hair with long bangs that often hang over his face, sometimes covering his eyes. He has a dangling earring in his left ear, his typical outfit consists of several layers, including a dark, hooded jacket or cloak worn over a yellow-and-black horizontally striped shirt. He also wears a simple chain necklace.
Personality[edit]
Toya Osoegawa's personality is extremely unmotivated and lazy, but also clever and resourceful. [1]
Abilities & Magic[edit]
- Water Gun Power Up Magic: Toya uses a spell that increases the power of water guns. [2]
- Stealth: During his fight with Sagae, Toya vanishes from sight, causing Sagae to be confused.[2]
- Cleaning Magic: After taking over the Shuei Gang's office, Toya uses the cleaning magic to instantly clean and organize the entire messy room, preparing it to be their new base[2]

Toya considers as his superior, and he is her top pupil. Their relationship is a mix of a formal hierarchy a parental dynamic. She is also deeply familiar with his lazy personality, saying, he hasn't changed since we first met.[1]
